Early Childhood: 3-K & Pre-K
The Creative Curriculum
Our earliest learners are guided through NYC's research-backed Creative Curriculum — a play-based, project-driven approach that develops the whole child before kindergarten.
-
Play-Based Learning: Children learn by playing and exploring. Lessons are hands-on and focus on helping the whole child grow. This is used in 3-K and Pre-K classrooms.
-
Project-Based Studies: Learning is organized into longer projects, such as studying trees, clothing, or balls. These projects help children explore topics in a deeper way.
-
Literacy and Math Focus: Students practice reading and math skills every day. Classrooms also use many different children’s books.
-
Support for Teachers: Teachers have digital planning tools that help them plan lessons and meet each child’s needs.
-
Inclusive Approach: The program supports multilingual learners and creates fair, welcoming classrooms for all students.
